🌍✨ Pestalozzi High School Takes Off with Erasmus+! ✈️💙
Pestalozzi High School of San Severo is proud to announce its selection for the European Union’s Erasmus+ program, a significant milestone in our long-standing commitment to international education.
Our approved project, “Gamify Green,” will use gamification as a powerful tool to engage students in environmental education. Together with our European partners, we will design an innovative ecological game—fun, educational, and replicable in classrooms across the continent.
🤝 Together with our amazing partners in this journey:
🇬🇷 1st Gymnasio of Volos (Greece) – A historic institution with roots dating back to 1882, dedicated to inclusivity, intercultural understanding, and active citizenship.
🇧🇬 Association of Motivating Initiatives in Education (AMEI, Bulgaria) – A dynamic non-profit bringing together educators and trainers to empower learners through high-quality non-formal education.
🇹🇷 Atakum District Provincial Directorate of National Education (Türkiye) – A key educational authority in Samsun, overseeing 263 schools and over 39,000 students, committed to quality and inclusion.
💬 Headteacher Filomena Mezzanotte remarked:
“This is more than a mobility program—it is a journey of personal and cultural growth. Our students will act as ambassadors of Europe’s values: dialogue, inclusion, and solidarity.”
📌 Why this matters for San Severo:
- Students will gain first-hand intercultural experiences across Europe.
